Employment Support

Finding a job is one thing. Finding the right opportunity and having the support to succeed is another.

The Garlington Foundation helps people explore what’s possible, connect with meaningful employment, and grow on the job.

From the first application to the first day of work and beyond, we’re there with encouragement, practical support, and a commitment to helping each person build confidence, independence, and a future they’re proud of.

Community Food Support

The Garlington Foundation works with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine to recover surplus food and bring it directly into the community.

Every Wednesday, we distribute rescued food at no cost to individuals and families in the communities we serve—helping good food reach people instead of going to waste.

Our Mission

The Garlington Foundation inspires hope, adds value, and delivers a ridiculously positive impact in each life we serve. Our goal is to build individuals up with efficient, laser-focused approaches tailored to meet their specific needs.

Activities we can work on together

Working alongside community partners throughout Los Angeles County, The Garlington Foundation provides supported employment services designed to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and build greater independence, confidence, and opportunity. Through employment preparation, job development, individualized coaching, transportation support, and meaningful community engagement, we help each person identify their strengths, pursue their goals, and achieve lasting success in the workplace and community. Every service is grounded in compassion, consistency, and genuine connection.
